Dr. Andrew Kalis was raised in Charlottesville, VA. As a child, he was always active in athletics, playing basketball and baseball. He continued to play collegiate baseball at Shenandoah University while earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Exercise Science.
Growing up, Dr. Andrew suffered from severe allergies that affected his quality of life. It was not until he began seeing a chiropractor for low back pain that he noticed the congestion and headaches from the allergies were absent as well! He continued to see his chiropractor because he noticed that having regular chiropractic adjustments allowed him to perform at higher levels on the field and avoid injuries. This inspired Dr. Andrew to gain the focus necessary to continue his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic for his Doctorate of Chiropractic. During his time at Palmer, he initiated and served as the President of the Torque Release Technique Club on campus. He was honored as a Fellow of the Holder Research Institute for his service to the Institute and to the Technique.
When he is not in the office or assisting others to find their true potential, Dr. Andrew loves spending time with his wife, Michele, and Goldendoodle, Brady. This includes going to the theme parks (who doesn’t love Mickey?), fishing, biking, going to baseball games, and enjoying what beautiful Central Florida has to offer.
